Kennels
- Owners live on site and the facilities are secure. All kennels have a smoke alarm system hard wired to an alarm in the house with a location indicator.
- All dogs sleep in kennels that are well heated and insulated. They stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
- Dogs always have individual kennel spaces to sleep and eat in. Only family groups can sleep and eat together.
- Different sized kennel spaces are available, provided with plastic beds, bedding and bowls. Anti-gulp bowls are available.
- All kennels are cleaned regularly with vet approved products and exercise areas are kept tidy.
- Dogs are encouraged to socialise with other dogs in large grass exercise yards, but there are yards available for those who prefer their own company. Exercise sessions are always supervised by staff.
- Lengthy morning and afternoon exercise sessions are weather dependent, with staff and on-site owners able to work around any conditions.
- Premium dry food is served twice a day, and filtered water is always available. Eating habits are monitored by staff, and long term boarders can be weighed regularly to ensure they are maintaining a healthy weight.
- Staff talk to owners and take account of any individual medical, dietary or social needs. Owners are welcome to check in with how their pets are progressing.
- Staff monitor the general health and well-being of pets daily, and won’t hesitate to take them to the vet if necessary.
